In 1995 Rev. Fr. Paulson Kannanaickal was sent to Kenya for mission work along with the Fathers of Devamatha Province by the then Provincial Rev.Fr. Francis Thaivalappil. Later Fr. Sebastian Parayil, Fr. George Puthenchira and Fr. John Eluvathingal were also sent to join Fr. Paulson thus forming a team of missionaries. Fr. Paulson was appointed the coordinator of the mission. They are engaged in pastoral ministry at Magumoni and Mikumbune in the Diocese of Meru. The General Council through its Decree PG/257/2004, dated 12th May 2004 has formally entrusted the Dioceses under Nyeri Archdiocese excluding Muranga Diocese as the extended territory of the Preshitha Province for its missionary activities. Fr. Rupert is the new coordinator who left India to join the Kenyan Mission on February 7, 2006.
